Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
  
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
  
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  
• Participate in the development and maintenance of good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  
• Prefer PTCB certification.
