Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Northstar Behavioral Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Services: Safely transport clients to and from appointments, intake pickups, discharge drop-offs, and other scheduled events.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles, reporting any defects or damage to the supervisor and coordinating maintenance as needed.
  • Client Support: Provide a safe and respectful environment for clients, ensuring their well-being and comfort during transportation.
  • Documentation: Accurately document client information, transportation details, and other relevant data in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals, provide support, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background Check: Successfully complete a background study.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with 245G regulations, Minnesota Statutes, and Northstar Behavioral Health Network's policies and procedures.
  • Certifications: CPR and 1st Aid certification or willingness to participate in courses provided by Northstar Behavioral Health Network.
  • Driver's License: Valid MN driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet research.
