Job Summary

The Clinical Eligibility Reviewer will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for reviewing electronic medical records to determine medical eligibility for our cardiac recovery program. This position requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong clinical background in cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support to the enrollment team by reviewing patient charts for medical eligibility
  • Identify current cardiac rehab referral orders or create new orders when necessary
  • Communicate patient eligibility and ineligibility to the enrollment team through concise documentation
  • Review patient registrations and verify insurance benefits
  • Participate in special projects as needed
Requirements:
  • LPN or RN credential required
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in cardiac care
  • Proficiency in EPIC or general EMR systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent clinical assessment and analytical skills
