Job SummaryThe Clinical Eligibility Reviewer will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for reviewing electronic medical records to determine medical eligibility for our cardiac recovery program. This position requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong clinical background in cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily support to the enrollment team by reviewing patient charts for medical eligibility
- Identify current cardiac rehab referral orders or create new orders when necessary
- Communicate patient eligibility and ineligibility to the enrollment team through concise documentation
- Review patient registrations and verify insurance benefits
- Participate in special projects as needed
- LPN or RN credential required
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in cardiac care
- Proficiency in EPIC or general EMR systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent clinical assessment and analytical skills
- Citrix access
