Main Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:

A. Leadership and Team Management

B. Achievement of Departmental Goals

b. Engage in Daily Production Management meetings for the assigned shift.

c. Collaborate with teams to enhance process efficiency.

d. Accurately document data and identify any discrepancies.

e. Participate in various management meetings as required.

C. Oversight of Daily Operations

a. Execute production schedules effectively.

b. Conduct quality assurance checks.

c. Perform process audits to ensure machines are set up and operating correctly.

d. Complete all necessary departmental documentation, capturing performance data for the shift.

e. Communicate any issues to management.

f. Resolve minor operational problems as they arise.

g. Utilize data tools for performance tracking.

i. BMS – efficiency reporting and data collection.

ii. SAP – planning and reporting.

iii. BI – productivity and quality queries to enhance performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. 5-10 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

2. Familiarity with LEAN or Six-Sigma methodologies is advantageous.

3. Knowledge of ISO 9001/TS/IATF 16949/QMS standards.

4. Experience in the textile industry is a plus.

5. Proficient in basic to moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, timekeeping software, SAP, and BMS.
