About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Respiratory Equipment Assistant to join our Respiratory Department at Maine Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch their career in respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to Respiratory Therapists with patient care and equipment maintenance.
  • Assemble, transport, disinfect, calibrate, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment as needed.
  • Perform electrocardiograms and other diagnostic tests as directed.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
