Ultimate Staffing is seeking a seasoned risk professional to lead its third-party risk management program. This critical role requires a deep understanding of regulatory expectations and the ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with third-party relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive third-party risk management program that meets regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and update the program to reflect company growth, evolving risk, size, and complexity.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidance requirements published by regulators.
  • Oversee the identification, assessment, and monitoring of risks associated with third-party relationships.
  • Collaborate with the legal, compliance, and information security teams to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Prepare and present reports to risk committees and the Board of Directors.
  • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory exams and audits related to third-party risk management.
  • Verify that contracts with third-party vendors include appropriate risk management provisions.
  • Develop and deliver training to staff on third-party risk management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in third-party risk management, vendor management, or a related risk management role with a financial institution of assets over $10 billion.
  • In-depth knowledge of third-party risk management agreements and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines, such as FDIC, OCC, FFIEC, TXDOB, and experience with regulatory exams related to third-party risk.
  • Excellent communication skills.
