Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Powertrain Systems Engineer to support NASCAR's powertrain department in Concord, NC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, experience with dynamometer test equipment and procedures, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dynamometer test support and data analysis
  • Computer-aided design (CAD) tool proficiency
  • Vendor support and quality control procedures
  • Formal reporting and presentation development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 1-2 years of related experience
  • Proficient in CAD software (CATIA preferred) and CAE software (structural analysis, mechanism analysis, etc.)
  • Experience with dynamometer test equipment and procedures (AVL preferred)
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience.
