About the Role

As a key member of our team at Rhino Tool House, you will play a crucial role in providing engineering support for multiple ongoing projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring project success by overseeing design approvals, layouts, materials procurement and management, project scheduling, reporting, contract deliverables, installation, and other project-related tasks.

You will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D designs that meet the needs of our customers. This involves combining various aspects of an engineered solution to document fit, function, and position. You must possess a deep understanding of manufacturing plants, assembly, and tooling to provide technical guidance to projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support for multiple ongoing projects
  • Oversee design approvals, layouts, and materials procurement and management
  • Manage project scheduling, reporting, and contract deliverables
  • Ensure successful project installation and completion
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal team members to ensure project specifications and deliverables are met
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a closely-related field
  • No less than 15 years of experience in mechanical design engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in 3D design and layout
  • Understanding of manufacturing plants, assembly, and tooling
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer license in any U.S. state
  • Membership of the National Society of Professional Engineers
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Pro/E, MS Project, MS Visio, Navisworks, Mathcad, Adobe Photoshop, PILOT NV5235, and MSC VisualNastran 4D
Compensation and Benefits
