About the Role

AEG seeks a skilled Powertrain Systems Engineer to support NASCAR's powertrain department in Concord, NC.

Responsibilities:
  • Support vehicle and engine dynamometer testing
  • Analyze and report performance data
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) tools for model creation and documentation
  • Support vendors with drawing review, quality control procedures, and engineering change notifications
  • Compose formal reports and develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 1-2 years of related experience
  • Proficient in CAD software (CATIA preferred) and CAE software (structural analysis, mechanism analysis, etc.)
  • Experience with dynamometer test equipment and procedures (AVL preferred)
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
