TalentBridge is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Project Lead to oversee and lead engineering projects related to tool and die experience for extrusion operations. This role involves providing engineered solutions for improved process flow, reviewing new or aging equipment, and sourcing solutions for improved quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to maintenance and operators with a strong focus on reducing equipment downtime and improving throughput.
  • Design components for production equipment using SolidWorks and collaborate with the automation team for more complex equipment designs.
  • Train and mentor operators and maintenance teams on how equipment works and how to run it/repair it.
  • Bid on and manage equipment purchases, including specifying equipment, creating CAPEX requests, and managing installs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on extrusion, tool and die design, and SolidWorks.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Strong project management skills and excellent problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
