Your Responsibilities

Cisco is in search of a motivated pre-sales Solutions Architect to spearhead a collaborative engineering initiative with a significant hyper-scale client in their Enterprise setting. This role is highly technical and supports the sales team, requiring you to manage all technical facets of pre-sales activities, including cutting-edge hardware and software solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass post-sales support, presenting and demonstrating solutions, feature planning, and organizing efforts to meet the specific needs of one of the world's most influential organizations. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in:

  • Current network solutions, products, and services
  • Translating client requests into detailed engineering documentation
  • Conducting technical presentations and demonstrations for clients and internal teams
  • Coordinating and prioritizing comprehensive data for client evaluation
  • Automation using Python and/or Golang
  • Netconf/YANG/OpenConfig
  • Linux/BSD Systems
  • Cisco IOS-XR, Nexus, and IOS-XE Operating Systems
  • Enterprise networking campus designs
  • Routing Protocols, including BGP/EVPN/VXLAN, ISIS/OSPF
  • Quality of Service (QoS)
  • Firewall/Security knowledge is advantageous
  • Wireless site design experience is a plus

You will engage with Cisco's latest hardware architectures, influencing the trajectory of our software solutions. You will be supported by experienced pre-sales team members and business unit leaders who are eager to meet the demanding needs of your client.

Your Profile

You are an innovative thinker, always seeking ways to enhance systems. You have a knack for identifying patterns in processes and proposing solutions to improve them. Comfortable with both spreadsheets and discussions about customer requirements, you excel at showcasing solutions in proof-of-concept scenarios. You are dedicated to instilling confidence in clients by demonstrating network architectures that fulfill their objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in networking/architecture and fieldwork with large enterprise accounts as a Systems Engineer/Systems Architect or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Practical understanding of network architecture.
  • Familiarity with networking hardware and software.
