Job Summary

The Specialty Pharmacy Business Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency of specialty pharmacy services at UF Health. This position will be responsible for coordinating fiscal management activities, performing data analysis, and maintaining departmental statistics and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate fiscal management activities to ensure efficient operation of specialty pharmacy services
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Maintain departmental statistics and reports to inform business decisions
  • Assist with contracting and auditing 340B utilization, purchase records, and realized cost savings
  • Organize and supervise data collection and reporting functions to ensure accurate and efficient specialty pharmacy services
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field
  • Registered pharmacy technician or eligible for registration within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum 1 year experience in specialty pharmacy operations, business management, and/or insurance payor access
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong self-motivational skills and ability to function independently
  • Proven communications, interpersonal relations, and team building skills
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
