Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Service Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting Customers: Help customers locate products, process transactions, and resolve any issues they may have.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, processing merchandise, and completing other tasks as assigned.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive store atmosphere, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Experience: Retail and customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Working Conditions

As a Service Team Member, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers and colleagues throughout the day. You will be required to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes and merchandise as needed.
