Position Overview

Empath Health is actively seeking a Communications Strategy Specialist to enhance our outreach efforts.

The primary objective of this role is to design and execute communication strategies that create a supportive and well-informed atmosphere for patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ultimately improving the overall experience within the community health care framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to boost engagement and satisfaction among colleagues and clients.
  • Create clear and accessible informational materials for patients and their families, facilitating better understanding and care.
  • Manage internal communication channels to ensure staff are informed and aligned with organizational policies and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular assessments and analyses of communication efforts to enhance outreach and educational initiatives.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A foundational understanding of not-for-profit and community health care.
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting engaging content for various social media platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram, with a portfolio showcasing creativity and effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in storytelling, copywriting, and video editing, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in writing blogs and internal communications across different divisions within an organization.
  • Ability to adhere to brand standards, accurately reflecting the organizational vision and strategy while engaging a diverse audience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Self-motivation and the capability to manage projects independently from inception to completion.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
