Job Title: Office Assistant Substitute

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant Substitute to join our team at New Branches Charter Academy. As a key member of our front office staff, you will provide administrative support to our students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform secretarial and administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with parents and staff.
  • Manage office operations, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and families, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process enrollment procedures, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Assist with attendance tracking, tardy management, and other administrative tasks in PowerSchool.
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and maintain a secure front entrance.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills in data processing, spreadsheets, and research.
  • Valid Michigan driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or above.
  • Experience in a school setting with school-age children.
  • Knowledge of and skills working with students and families of all backgrounds.
