Clinical Supervisor, Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor, Registered Nurse to join our team at Sierra Medical Center's new rehabilitation hospital in Northwest Reno. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, assessing current patient care situations, and prioritizing and meeting the needs of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provides direct and indirect patient care as necessary, assessing current patient care situations, priorities, and needs.
- Revises plan of care as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluates overall plan daily for effectiveness.
- Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policy related to emergency preparedness, fire, hazardous materials and waste, medical equipment, safety, security, and utilities.
- Utilizes standard precautions, complies with OSHA standards, and adheres to infection control policies.
- Attends 75% of department staff meetings.
- Current NV State Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS
- PALS certification may be required for specific departments
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required or enrolled in an accredited program within one year of employment
- A minimum of 3 years recent clinical nursing experience required
- Previous clinical supervisor experience preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
