Clinical Supervisor RN

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor RN to join our team at Sierra Medical Center's new rehabilitation hospital in Northwest Reno. As a Clinical Supervisor RN, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, assessing current patient care situations, and prioritizing and planning patient care. You will also be responsible for supervising and evaluating the performance of nursing staff, and participating in performance improvement teams.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care as necessary, assessing current patient care situations, priorities, and needs.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement teams, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including infection control, safety, and security protocols.
- Current NV State Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- PALS certification may be required for specific departments (or must be able to obtain within six-months)
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required or enrolled in an accredited program within one year of employment or transfer into supervisory role
- A minimum of 3 years recent clinical nursing experience required
- Previous clinical supervisor experience preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
