Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician or Technical Specialist to join our team at NSK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems throughout our manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including preventative maintenance activities on equipment and facilities.
- Learn machine troubleshooting techniques, both electrical and mechanical, to identify and diagnose malfunctions.
- Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery, electrical control equipment, and circuitry.
- Use machine troubleshooting techniques/knowledge to repair minor machine conditions under supervision.
- Learn central systems, their functions, and how they integrate with operations.
- Monitor and test equipment to identify and diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of central systems.
- Repair and rebuild mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
- Read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints, identifying parts/components of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and explaining their functions.
- Maintain neat, organized routing of wiring and follow standards of good workmanship when routing wiring and mounting components.
- Pull prints, identify, and request components.
- Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Work in a safe, responsible manner, complying with all Safety and Lockout/Tagout Procedures.

Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- One to three years of experience with troubleshooting, set-up, change-over, maintenance, or repair of CNC equipment and robotics.
