  • We need someone highly technical with electrical circuits who would be doing modification of PLC programming and build the programming from the scratch if required

  • Candidate should be proficient with Relay Logic and status of different switches in the electrical circuits
  • We are open to have non-local candidates who can relocate at own cost
  • Soft Skills: team player, willing to teach others, positive attitude, self-starter, flexible to work on different schedules
  • Work Schedule: start shift at 7:30 am – 10 hours shift – Working on weekend and holidays as and when required
  • Top 3 skills: PLC programming experience, Servo Motors troubleshooting, electrical or wire troubleshooting
  • Bachelor's NOT mandatory
  • 100% Onsite
  • 30% Travel Domestic and International: Japan for Meetings, Technical observations and hands on work after 3 months of hire.
  • Steel Toe Boots: Yes
  • 3-5 years of industrial experience: Maintenance, Electrical troubleshooting.
  • The Manager is not looking for an operator
  • This role is all Electrical. So an ideal candidate would have experience with PLC and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Interview: 1 round for now 60 minutes

Who we're looking for
Production Engineering Battery Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Seibi (Maintenance Engineering Technician) Technician Position.
The primary responsibility of this position is to execute as the North American machine set up personnel (SV), increase Operation Availability (OA) through continuous improvement and problem-solving technical issues. This role will also support the Battery department's objective to execute Capital Projects from planning thru Start of Production (SOP).
This position will be located in Liberty, NC and report to the Seibi Manager for Battery

Requirements:
What you'll be doing
Test and repair electrical equipment or systems. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.)
Strong ability to write, program, troubleshoot, modify and/or repair programmable logic controllers, robotics, cameras, and other electronic equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair safety systems, machine components hydraulic and pneumatic.
Plan and execute machine integration into mass production, leveling, adjustment and quality conformation for assigned work area.
Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods.
Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Develop denwacho (detail schedule) for assigned work area / project.
Participate in project planning with Engineering.
Demonstrate the ability to learn new processes.
Supporting Machine production trials at vendors and internal
Certify Safety of Equipment per MMR/MMS (NFPA79 and ISO standards) via 'Safety Integrity Check”
What you bring
Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equipment installation and debugging experience
Experience with Electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment
Technical experience with PLCs in programming, including read, write and modify logic
Technical experience with Servo Motion Controllers
Technical experience with relay logic including wiring and troubleshooting
Technical experience with Robotics including programming and troubleshooting.
Experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic troubleshooting and schematic reading
Availability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
Ability for business travel, both domestic and international - up to 30%.
Added bonus if you have:
Technical associate degree or higher or equivalent experience
Experience in Pre-Production set up
Experience with Production Processes including Standardized Work (STW) and Job Instruction Sheets (JIS)
Experience gathering and analyzing quality data from multiple sources
New plant or facility startup experience
Experience with high volume production in a clean room environment
