Join Our Team as a Senior Internal Auditor

At NVR, our Senior Internal Auditors collaborate closely with our executive leadership to ensure our operations remain efficient and effective. This role provides a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical expertise while taking charge of significant projects that assess our business performance and engage with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently design and implement audits focusing on operational, financial, and specialized investigations, encompassing risk evaluation, scope determination, testing, and reporting of conclusions.
  • Formulate actionable solutions and convey recommendations to both operational management and senior executives.
  • Enhance the audit process continuously to improve its effectiveness and efficiency, delivering timely and relevant insights to management.
  • Collaborate with fellow Internal Auditors, external audit teams, and consultants to ensure successful project completion.
  • Evaluate and address emerging trends and requirements related to ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance).
  • Mentor and oversee junior auditors while participating in recruitment initiatives for new team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience, ideally with a major public accounting firm.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFE are advantageous.
  • Experience in discussing findings and presenting recommendations to senior management is a plus.
