Join Our Team as a Senior Internal Auditor
At NVR, our Senior Internal Auditors collaborate closely with our executive management team to ensure our operations remain aligned with our strategic goals. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to leverage their analytical expertise while managing significant projects that impact our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design and implement audits covering operational, financial, and special investigations, including risk evaluation, project scope, testing, and reporting conclusions.
- Formulate actionable solutions and convey recommendations to both operational management and senior leadership.
- Contribute to the enhancement of audit processes to boost effectiveness and efficiency, delivering timely insights to management.
- Collaborate with fellow Internal Auditors, external auditors, and consultants to successfully complete assigned projects.
- Evaluate and address emerging trends and requirements related to ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance).
- Mentor and oversee junior auditors while participating in recruitment initiatives for new audit team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience, ideally with a prominent public accounting firm.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFE are advantageous.
- Experience in presenting findings and recommendations to senior management is a plus.
