The Senior Manager of Business Processes will oversee the comprehensive management of business processes related to the configuration solutions for Emerson's Isolation Valves (ISV) Business unit on a global scale. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership for ISV's configurators, gather input from users and strategic business units for enhancements, and prioritize developments while managing their implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver strategic and technical guidance for the Product Configurators within the Isolation Valve Business Unit.
- Collect and prioritize user feedback to drive continuous improvement of product configurators.
- Oversee the roadmap for configurator development and enhancements.
- Facilitate the rollout of configurators across various global regions as part of the CPQ transformation.
- Lead the transition of configurator programming from Oracle Configurator Developer to Configit.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration to support ongoing improvements for the configurators.
- Direct and prioritize the workload of the configuration development team.
- Maintain training materials and functional documentation for configurators.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to managing expectations and adapting to changing conditions. You will be recognized as a top performer, showcasing initiative in challenging situations and the ability to identify and seize opportunities.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; degrees in Engineering or Information Technology are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- At least 10 years of experience in developing and enhancing business processes alongside IT solutions for a global audience.
- Familiarity with Product Configuration technologies, particularly Configit or Oracle OCD, and engineering product structures.
- Proven ability to manage time-sensitive issues in complex business environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects to completion.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as required (up to 20%).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Excellent presentation skills across various organizational levels.
- A commitment to excellence and a reputation as a standout colleague.
- 2-4 years of industry experience in leading business process changes.
