The ideal candidate will have experience in construction law and/or civil litigation, filing in state and federal court, and possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to construction projects.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Manage case files and maintain organized records.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and other parties involved in construction projects.
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as court filings, scanning, and data entry.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a civil litigation paralegal, preferably with experience in construction law.
  • Experience filing in state and federal court.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
