Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Technology for Non-Financial Risk to join our team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology solutions to support our Non-Financial Risk initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for the development and implementation of technology solutions to support Non-Financial Risk initiatives.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement technology solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps to ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Senior stakeholder engagement experience, including with heads of various Non-Financial Risk functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure informed and aligned decisions across technology and business stakeholder groups.
  • Expertise in technology and business architectures for GRC implementations and BAU.
  • Global management experience working with business partners across jurisdictions and technology centers of excellence.
  • Expertise in vendor management and partnership across delivery and support.
  • Hands-on experience creating roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategy for NFR.
  • Hands-on team management experience, building a team and maturing a team.
  • Hands-on management of KPIs and KRIs within technology.
  • Focused on commitments to timeline, cost, and result across all initiatives by the team.
  • Hands-on development experience and not afraid to roll up the sleeve. Must be from a development pedigree.
  • Experience with configuration and customization (coding) based GRC development on Service Now (prefer also Archer and/or Fusion).
  • Understanding of the various GRC functional capabilities – familiarity of Service Now is a must. Archer / Fusion is highly preferred.
  • >7 years of ServiceNow IRM experience within Financial Services industry.
  • A College or University degree in Computer Science and/or relevant work experience is required.
  • Must be from a technical background with hands-on technical development experience.
  • >7 years in GRC development space.
  • Report on issues and root causes, and manage remediation and sustainability of the remediation.
  • Work with offshore team to coordinate issue finding, escalations, resolution implementation, etc.
  • Must have Risk Management transformation program experience.
