We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Director to join our team at Early Warning. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a first-line of defense (LOD1) risk and internal control program for our Technology business lines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Risk Management Program: Design and implement a comprehensive risk management program that aligns with Early Warning's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Compliance, Operational Risk Management, and other risk functions to ensure effective risk management and control.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
- Develop and Maintain Risk Metrics: Develop and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the risk management program.
- Lead Risk Governance: Lead the risk governance process, including risk acceptance forms, to ensure that risks are properly assessed and managed.
- Develop and Implement Control Environment: Develop and implement a control environment that ensures the effective operation of risk management processes.
- Lead a Team of Risk Professionals: Lead a team of risk professionals to ensure the effective implementation of the risk management program.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in risk management, preferably in a financial services industry or a three-lines of defense program.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, effective change management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications: Technology/Security risk management, internal control, or internal audit certification(s) are highly desirable.
