Position Overview

This Technology-centric role is integral to Early Warning's primary risk and internal control framework. You will work in close partnership with the Enterprise Risk Management Leadership to ensure uniformity in the execution and operationalization of the three lines of defense model throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain technology policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Guarantee compliance with policy approval protocols.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for technology-related audits and evaluations.
  • Effectively articulate technology and security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Confirm that implemented solutions are in accordance with sanctioned policies.
  • Act as a conduit between business units, Risk Management, and Control teams.
  • Conduct assessments of technology controls and ensure proper execution.
  • Facilitate processes for risk identification and remediation.
  • Promote enhancements in data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Identify and execute initiatives for process improvements.
  • Support the organization's dedication to risk management and data security.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of pertinent experience.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27000, PCI DSS, NIST, COBIT, etc.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation abilities.
  • Background check required.
Desirable Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in security, governance, compliance, IT audit, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with PCI Compliance and Jira solutions.
  • Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS, SIEM, etc.
  • Experience in reporting at the executive level.
  • Additional relevant education and experience.
