We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN-Day Surgery Nurse to join our team at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing day surgery procedures, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address any identified concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in a day surgery or similar setting.
- Current National Certification in area of specialty.
