Job Title: Café Sales and Service Staff

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Café Sales and Service Staff member at The Bodacious Olive, LLC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in our café. This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring all products are accurately priced and displayed.
  • Generate sales and cross-sell all products and services to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and store housekeeping to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Process and replenish merchandise, adhere to dress code and standards of behavior, and follow all opening and closing procedures.
  • Safely handle all hot and cold drinks during drink preparation and respond proactively to prevent customer service situations.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and special promotions at POS registers.
  • May work special events and assist in all other departments as needed with approval of supervisor(s).
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED and one to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position include the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, bending, stooping, and able to lift up to 25 pounds.
