About the Role

Guidepoint is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Vice President, Business Development to join our US Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with top-tier clients, including global management consultancies, market research firms, and audit and advisory firms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform business development strategies
  • Partner with management to identify and pursue high-priority new business opportunities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and lead introductory/exploratory calls with prospects
  • Meet designated sales targets through a strategic and thoughtful process
  • Onboard new clients effectively and work closely with the client service team to collect feedback
  • Own the entire relationship with key strategic accounts and ensure a productive and successful contract period
Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales, business development, banking, business consulting, and/or account management experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle high-profile clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere and take initiative
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders of varying seniority levels
  • Quantitative skills critical to account management tasks, including Excel proficiency
