Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned business leader to lead a group of offices and drive business growth. As a Regional Manager (In-Training), you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of office managers to achieve sales growth, targeted profit margins, and excellent customer service
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to enhance sales growth, profitability, productivity, and efficiency
  • Collaborating with the executive team to ensure alignment with company priorities
  • Acting as a role model, coach, and advocate for great customer and employee experiences
  • Introducing and aligning on best practices and process improvement measures

Responsibilities:

As a Regional Manager (In--Training) for Great Day Improvements, you will:

  • Lead a team of office managers to achieve sales growth, targeted profit margins, and excellent customer service
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance sales growth, profitability, productivity, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure alignment with company priorities
  • Act as a role model, coach, and advocate for great customer and employee experiences
  • Introduce and align on best practices and process improvement measures
  • Execute on forecasted marketing plans and sales strategies for growth and profitability
  • Communicate customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates with marketing and leadership to inform and influence strategies driving success

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, MBA preferred
  • Eight to ten years of related experience in business ownership or managing a business, preferably in the home improvement industry
  • Proven experience recruiting, developing, and managing high-performance teams and creating a culture focused on growth mindset, trust, collaboration, and accountability for results
  • Ability to understand and execute marketing plans that align with company practices
  • Ability to teach fiscal management and our business/sales model
  • Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple objectives and achieve objectives
  • Ability to balance business accountability and growth with the need for positive, trusted relationships across our organization and with customers and external partners
  • Skilled in business management, including budget preparation and fiscal management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
