Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned business leader to lead a group of offices and drive business growth. As a Regional Manager (In-Training), you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of office managers to achieve sales growth, targeted profit margins, and excellent customer service
- Developing and executing strategic plans to enhance sales growth, profitability, productivity, and efficiency
- Collaborating with the executive team to ensure alignment with company priorities
- Acting as a role model, coach, and advocate for great customer and employee experiences
- Introducing and aligning on best practices and process improvement measures
Responsibilities:
As a Regional Manager (In--Training) for Great Day Improvements, you will:
- Lead a team of office managers to achieve sales growth, targeted profit margins, and excellent customer service
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance sales growth, profitability, productivity, and efficiency
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure alignment with company priorities
- Act as a role model, coach, and advocate for great customer and employee experiences
- Introduce and align on best practices and process improvement measures
- Execute on forecasted marketing plans and sales strategies for growth and profitability
- Communicate customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates with marketing and leadership to inform and influence strategies driving success
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, MBA preferred
- Eight to ten years of related experience in business ownership or managing a business, preferably in the home improvement industry
- Proven experience recruiting, developing, and managing high-performance teams and creating a culture focused on growth mindset, trust, collaboration, and accountability for results
- Ability to understand and execute marketing plans that align with company practices
- Ability to teach fiscal management and our business/sales model
- Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple objectives and achieve objectives
- Ability to balance business accountability and growth with the need for positive, trusted relationships across our organization and with customers and external partners
- Skilled in business management, including budget preparation and fiscal management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
