Academic Advisor for Electrical and Computer Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Advisor to join our team at Stevens Institute of Technology. The successful candidate will provide academic advising for ECE graduate students, assist with related academic administrative matters, and work closely with the ECE Department leadership team.
Key Responsibilities- Advise prospective and current graduate students on academic program requirements and provide guidance on choosing and completing a program or concentration.
- Participate in and lead recruitment events, information sessions, and orientations for prospective and new students.
- Enter, evaluate, and audit student data in Workday Student to ensure students are progressing through their academic programs in a timely manner.
- Manage responses to inquiries from prospective students about electrical and computer engineering graduate programs.
- Serve as primary point of contact to the Department Chair, Associate Department Chairs, faculty advisors, department staff, and current graduate students regarding school policies and procedures.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree
- Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic advising
- Preferred Education: Master's degree
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with higher education program advising
