Compensation: The salary range is $60,000 to $120,000 annually.

ABOUT ASSET PROTECTION

The Asset Protection (AP) team is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and brand, especially during crisis situations. They work to safeguard profitable sales by minimizing risks of loss, preventing, investigating, and resolving incidents of theft and fraud, ensuring product availability for our guests.

As a Senior Team Leader in Asset Protection, you will gain valuable experience in:

  • Fostering a safe and secure workplace culture, including crisis management and crowd control strategies.
  • Developing strategic asset protection initiatives and achieving results through your team.
  • Identifying and addressing external theft and fraud while adhering to company policies.
  • Overseeing internal investigations and resolutions.
  • Recruiting, selecting, and managing talent for hourly team members and leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive overall store sales and enhance profitability by ensuring product availability for guests.
  • Promote and validate a culture of safety and security by implementing physical security measures and leading emergency response efforts.
  • Educate store leadership and teams on emergency preparedness and security protocols.
  • Identify shortage risks in key areas and devise strategies to mitigate these risks while driving sales.
  • Serve as a primary resource for company initiatives related to asset protection within your district.
  • Conduct training sessions on investigative techniques and de-escalation strategies for your AP team and store staff.
  • Maintain compliance with all required training programs.
  • Manage internal investigations and conduct interviews as necessary.
  • Proactively identify theft and shortage trends and develop preventive strategies.
  • Establish operational priorities for addressing shortages and educate store teams accordingly.
  • Oversee the prevention and resolution of external theft incidents.
  • Work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Build partnerships to analyze market trends and competitive strategies, utilizing guest feedback to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the Store Director.
  • Plan and allocate resources based on security and theft trends.
  • Lead organizational changes and follow up on operational improvements.
  • Establish accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
  • Anticipate staffing needs and develop a talent acquisition plan.
  • Support the onboarding and development of Asset Protection Team Leaders.
  • Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Communicate and promote asset protection priorities to your team and store leadership.
  • Foster a culture of safety by recognizing safe practices and addressing hazards.
  • Act as the first responder for in-store incidents.
  • Deliver exceptional service and a shopping experience that meets guest needs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing development and inclusive practices.
  • Adhere to all safety and security training protocols.
  • Perform other duties as required by business needs.
