CNC Machinist Technician

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Aerotek. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for maintaining, altering, upgrading, and repairing CNC machinery in an aerospace manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area
- Use appropriate PPE, work practices, and other controls to minimize risk exposure to yourself and others on site
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including tasks such as changing oil, changing belts, servicing filtration systems, and checking for damaged components
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment malfunctions, including electronic and mechanical failures
- Observe facility maintenance/repair needs and notify supervision of any items that cannot be resolved with a "See it, Fix it" approach
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience doing maintenance on CNC Machinists
- Advocate HSE (Health, Safety, Environmental) minded work and processes
- Self-motivated team member requiring minimal supervisor/guidance
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, inspection equipment, multimeter, etc.
- Operate fork truck and scissor lift (training provided)
- Minimum 3 years of electronic troubleshooting experience
