Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Meskwaki Bingo Casino & Hotel. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage venues, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train food and beverage staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverage preparation.
  • Monitor and control inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain efficient operations.
  • Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage cash handling and point-of-sale systems to maintain accurate records and prevent losses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience.
  • Perform human resource management tasks, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of food and beverage experience in a large-scale operation preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements, as well as basic computer or point-of-sale system skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Members of the Meskwaki Nation and other Native American Tribes are encouraged to apply and will be given preference in accordance with established procedures.

Working Conditions

This position may be exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke-filled environment. Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods and wear tread safety shoes.
