Job Overview:
Horizon Global Partners is in search of a skilled and meticulous Project Engineer to become a vital member of our innovative team. This position plays a key role in managing and supporting the design of telecommunications, technical security systems, and light construction initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be essential in strategizing, implementing, and concluding projects in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

This encompasses the acquisition of necessary resources and the coordination of efforts among team members and external contractors or consultants to achieve project objectives.

The Project Engineer will also be responsible for overseeing quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Position Type:
Full-time Security Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance Required

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in project or design engineering, ideally within the telecommunications, technical security systems, and light construction sectors.

Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred.

Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of Department of State OBO Building Standards and familiarity with Federal Government contracting processes.

Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Assist in the planning and management of various telecommunications, technical security systems, and light construction projects from inception to completion.

Ensure project schedules, submissions, and resources are managed effectively to consistently meet deadlines. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to coordinate efforts.

Technical Execution:
Undertake complex assignments with minimal supervision, addressing design and construction challenges as they arise. Adjust project timelines to guarantee timely completion.

Communication and Reporting:
Deliver timely updates and progress reports to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) weekly. Foster effective communication and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all engineering activities align with company and contractual standards. Adhere to safety protocols, quality control measures, and legal requirements.

Compensation:
$60,000 to $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
