Moffatt & Nichol is seeking motivated Junior Structural Engineers to join our dynamic team across various locations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural analysis, design, and detailing for concrete, steel, and timber structures.
  • Perform finite element modeling for static and dynamic structural assessments.
  • Assist Senior Engineers in developing design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Prepare and verify design calculations.
  • Coordinate design details with engineering and drafting teams.
  • Participate in the inspection and rehabilitation of existing structures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of internship or relevant industry experience is required.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation or STAAD software is advantageous.

Moffatt & Nichol utilizes E-Verify, and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to work in the U.S. and present the necessary documentation upon hire. All new hires must successfully complete a pre-employment background check in compliance with NIST.


Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $36.90 to $45.10 per hour, commensurate with experience, education level, professional registration, and qualifications.

This salary range applies only to candidates hired to work in specific markets.


Working Conditions:

This role may involve prolonged periods of sedentary work, client interactions, and occasional travel.
