Our team comprises a diverse group of engineers, planners, scientists, and architects dedicated to providing tailored services to our clients across various regions, including North America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project management efforts to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate structural designs.
- Develop comprehensive contract documents, including construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Produce schematic and detailed designs while evaluating planning and conceptual alternatives.
- Prepare detailed design reports and proposals, engaging directly with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site visits and participate in client meetings to ensure project alignment.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
- Engage in business development initiatives to enhance office growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Possession of a Structural Engineer (P.E.) license in Hawaii or the ability to obtain it within six months.
- A minimum of 15 years of structural design experience focused on waterfront structures.
- Familiarity with NAVFAC Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Preferred certification from the Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port & Navigation Engineers (ACOPNE) in Port Engineering.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between $154,000 and $188,000, commensurate with experience, education, and professional credentials.
Work Environment:
This role primarily involves office-based work, with occasional site visits that may require navigating various terrains.
