Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enrollment Specialist to join our team at Homes for the Homeless, Inc. This role will play a critical part in supporting our Early Learning programs and ensuring that families in need have access to quality education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the eligibility status of children in DOE 3K and Pre-K programs, ensuring seamless enrollment and re-certification processes.
  • Engage with families to provide assistance in completing application materials and facilitate the re-certification process.
  • Develop and execute a family recruitment plan in collaboration with the Director of Early Childhood Education, maximizing the value of services offered to the community.
  • Maintain accurate daily attendance records and associated reporting, providing valuable insights for program improvement.
  • Provide support in classrooms as needed, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or relevant college credits.
  • Familiarity with HRA, ACS, and DOE systems.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and paperwork.
  • Ability to provide community resources and referrals as needed.
  • Sensitivity and awareness when working with homeless and vulnerable populations.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.
