Bi-Lingual Scheduler Job Description

At Delaware Imaging Network, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiology. As a Bi-Lingual Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel exams for patients with excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Place outgoing calls to schedule patient exams and answer incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain self-control when dealing with difficult patients and situations, while showing care and compassion for all callers.
  • Enter accurate information in RIS for appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation, and comment entry.
  • Update account information at the point of scheduling and properly schedule all procedures.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of medical insurance plans and ability to pre-register and schedule patients rapidly and accurately.
  • General knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software.
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office.
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of integrity, confidentiality, and business ethics.
  • Must be able to type fluently in English while speaking with callers in either language.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages.
What We Offer:

A competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour, with varied shifts available between Monday - Friday 7:00am - 7:00pm and weekend hours 8:00am - 5:00pm.
