Holiday Inn Express and Riviera Beach House is currently seeking a part-time Hotel Maintenance Attendant responsible for the upkeep of all communal and public spaces within the establishment, as well as providing support to the housekeeping team.

The ideal candidate will possess fundamental knowledge in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, drywall, screening, and lock maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the hotel's cleanliness and safety protocols to ensure the well-being and comfort of both staff and guests.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary and in line with property-specific regulations.
  • Maintain a warm, friendly, and courteous attitude at all times while delivering personalized service to hotel visitors.
  • Effectively communicate with guests and fellow team members.
  • Ensure the grounds are free of litter and debris.
  • Manage laundry operations and assist in disposing of housekeepers' waste.
  • Thoroughly clean the lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, staircases, pool furniture, ice, and vending machines.
  • Keep dumpster areas, sand urns, outdoor light fixtures, public benches, and the exterior of guest room doors clean.
  • Shampoo carpets as directed.
  • Rotate mattresses as assigned.
  • Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as required.
  • Report any lost or found items, or damages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Assist the maintenance team with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry).
  • Support other team members and departments to enhance the overall performance of the hotel.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned or deemed necessary by management.

Required Skills and Abilities: Basic cleaning skills are essential. Basic maintenance knowledge is advantageous. Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and make sound judgments. Proficiency in English communication with guests, management, and fellow team members is desirable. Reliability is a must.
