Accountable for overseeing the scope, deliverables, timeline, budget, and quality of new initiatives for Intermatic.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but are not limited to:

  • Determines necessary resources and delegates responsibilities effectively.
  • Monitors the progress of each project phase to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to timelines and details, with proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Applies NPD methodologies effectively and upholds project standards.
  • Ensures that project documentation is thorough, precise, and properly archived.

Responsible for fostering and maintaining robust relationships with project team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership across Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Suppliers to secure the cross-functional support essential for successful project outcomes.

Prepares and presents status updates for project teams, sponsors, and executive leadership.

Comfortable addressing project challenges and summaries to senior management.

Ensures all stakeholders are recognized and involved in scope definition activities, with a clear understanding of the program schedule and critical milestones.

Identifies and mitigates project risks and issues, determining necessary remediation actions to ensure resolution.

Exhibits strong collaboration, brainstorming, and teamwork throughout assigned projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, with 7-10 years of experience in managing product development projects.
  • Outstanding communication skills and experience engaging with all levels of personnel and leadership.
  • Background in the design and manufacturing of electromechanical and electronic products.
  • Familiarity with UL, CSA, and other regulatory agency requirements and their implications for project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Project or other equivalent project management tools (e.g., Smartsheets, Workfront, Clarity, etc.).
  • PMP Certification is advantageous.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Capable of functioning effectively under pressure in a dynamic office setting.

Able to focus on various tasks simultaneously.

Effective communication skills across all management levels.

Can meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

A team player with exceptional organizational abilities.

Expected to work in the office approximately three days a week.

May require occasional meetings with suppliers outside of standard working hours.
