Job Title: Senior Training Manager, Oncology

AbbVie is a leading biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering and delivering innovative medicines and solutions that address serious health issues. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Training Manager, Oncology to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead sales training for Oncology Franchise A, supporting Epkinly.
  • Work closely with training peers to develop training related to disease, product, sales effectiveness, market knowledge, and operations training.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical, and Regulatory to ensure accuracy of medical content and compliance with promotional policies.
  • Manage vendors when developing training content and executing contract requirements.
  • Perform project management functions during the development of training content.
  • Lead training meetings, including planning, logistics management, vendor monitoring, and participant conduct.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop training that meets brand objectives and coordinate the rollout of training materials.
  • Influence and lead without authority by collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide highly effective, timely, innovative, and relevant training solutions.
  • Collaborate with external partners to provide best-in-class training deliverables.
  • Build trust and credibility with Business Partners through regular interaction and is evidenced by feedback and proven working partnerships.
  • Act as a resource for field sales through active participation in all sales meetings and routine field rides.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
  • Training, Marketing, or Sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Hematology/Oncology disease areas highly preferred.
  • Experience developing training tools to enable the enhancement of clinical acumen is a plus.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, training design concepts, and platforms is a plus.
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to excel in a complex cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to self-motivate and perform effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Expertise with technology platforms (iPad) and programs (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel) is highly desirable.
