We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy and precision in every step of the process.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
- Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records.
- Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
- Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information.
- Cut blocks and make custom molds as needed.
- Interpret computerized treatment plans and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Minimum 3 years' experience actively practicing as an RTT.
- ARRT certification required.
- Valid state license for radiation therapy.
The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients, with minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
