Customer Service Representative II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative II to join our team at the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide general information and refer customers to applicable offices or departments as needed.
- Conduct proactive customer service activities to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- May serve as a team lead for lower-level customer service representatives.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of directly related experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Higher education experience.
- Service leadership skills, including mutual respect, active listening, and responsiveness.
- Ability to clearly interpret and implement policies and procedures.
- Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external constituents.
