Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative II to join our team at the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide general information and refer customers to applicable offices or departments as needed.
  • Conduct proactive customer service activities to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • May serve as a team lead for lower-level customer service representatives.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of directly related experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher education experience.
  • Service leadership skills, including mutual respect, active listening, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to clearly interpret and implement policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external constituents.
