Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, preparing correspondence, and addressing customer needs to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Process customer orders and prepare correspondence to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Respond to customer inquiries through various channels (inbound/outbound calls, email, and chat).
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude when interacting with customers.
- Resolve customer issues by investigating concerns, identifying solutions, and providing updates.
- Utilize a multi-line phone system and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage customer interactions.
- Assist in calculating billing balances and answer questions related to customer accounts.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain proper documentation in customer files.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of experience in a customer service or related field.
- Proficiency in typing (45 WPM minimum, without looking at the keyboard).
- Pass a basic computer literacy test with an 85% score.
- Pass a phone etiquette test with an 85% score.
- Strong literacy, reading comprehension, and math skills to handle billing inquiries.
- Ability to learn quickly and retain information.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems (e.g., Avaya or Cisco) for call transfers, conferences, and outbound calls.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., CC&B, NOVA, Medisoft).
- Hybrid work environment: work remotely four days a week, and one day in the Houston office (Wednesdays).
