Position Overview

Acer America Corporation is a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization situated in Silicon Valley. We are seeking a meticulous professional with at least five years of experience in logistics and fulfillment to assume full responsibility for the Logistics Coordinator - Bilingual (English/Mandarin) role.

Key Responsibilities

Your Role Will Include:

  • Participating in monthly strategic planning discussions to address forecast discrepancies and current month challenges.
  • Owning customer-specific demand forecasts by utilizing historical sales data and fostering customer relationships to ensure precise projections for ongoing products.
  • Overseeing product launches at both the customer and SKU levels, advocating for the timing and loading requirements of assigned accounts.
  • Formulating business strategies and proposals aimed at enhancing sales revenue, minimizing costs, and optimizing operational efficiencies.
  • Managing the procurement of materials in alignment with your demand forecasts.
  • Actively participating in cross-functional meetings to gather critical insights from various departments including Product Management, Business Management, and Supply Chain.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate submission of forecasts during each monthly cycle, as well as making necessary adjustments as required.
  • Contributing to the management of product lifecycles by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop inventory strategies for existing products, new launches, and transitions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for various teams, including executive-level staff.
  • Coordinating with multiple teams to track orders and align demand with supply commitments.
  • Utilizing advanced Excel and database skills to diagnose issues and support ad hoc business decisions.
  • Engaging in day-to-day operations to help achieve organizational goals.

  • Familiarity with demand planning software is advantageous.
  • Proficient in basic PC applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in fulfillment or demand planning.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, including experience with CSV data handling (Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc. is a plus).
  • Familiarity with online platforms and software.
  • Experience with ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
