Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of products while adhering to Argen's operational standards. Key responsibilities include meticulous recordkeeping for each product order, managing the packing process, generating shipping labels, and coordinating with shipping carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently picks, packs, labels, and ships customer orders, ensuring compliance with packaging and labeling standards.
  • Processes product orders through the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, facilitating transfers to relevant departments.
  • Conducts audits of shipments prior to packing to verify that products align with purchase orders.
  • Accurately completes required shipping documentation.
  • Adheres to departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintains compliance with both customer and company standards.
  • Restocks inventory utilizing a Kanban system, categorizing products as 'Requested', 'In Progress', or 'Done'.
  • Inputs orders into shipping software for both national and international carriers, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, and freight services.
  • Accesses and retrieves product orders from the ERP system.
  • Assists in upholding material inventory standards.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participates in cross-training opportunities to gain insights into Supply Chain processes.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Success:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in shipping or logistics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping carrier systems such as AES, FedEx, DHL, and UPS is advantageous.
  • Experience with an enterprise resource planning system, particularly QAD, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependability and adherence to schedules.
  • Capability to meet tight deadlines and achieve production targets.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn technical concepts through reading and on-the-job training.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and relevant standards is preferred.
