About the Role

This position is part of Lockheed Martin's Cyber & Intelligence team, which is responsible for protecting the networks that our citizens and the world depend upon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Apply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Support the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
  • Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
  • Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data.
  • Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements.
  • Recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
Desired Skills
  • Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle.
  • Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions.
  • Coordinates and addresses Supply Chain risk management concerns.
  • Develop, evaluate, and analyze design constraints, trade-offs, and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain.
  • Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
  • Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
  • Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques, and tools and assure their consistent application.
  • Implements appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.
