Your Responsibilities:
As an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), your duties will include:
- Acting as a security engineering representative on teams focused on the design, development, and integration of secure networking and computing environments.
- Engaging in the design and implementation of Information Assurance (IA) architectures and systems.
- Applying knowledge of IA policies to create secure networking solutions.
- Collaborating with customers and project teams to ensure security requirements are met.
- Conducting risk assessments and supporting security planning and management.
- Identifying security needs for the handling of sensitive data.
- Performing system designs that accommodate various data protection requirements.
- Recommending solutions to meet security challenges.
- Traveling as necessary for system installations and assessments.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 14 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 12 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
Expertise in SIGINT collection and analysis, along with experience in operating sensor packages, is essential.
Desired Expertise:
The ideal candidate will be recognized as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Clearance Requirement:
Applicants must hold a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

This position is based onsite, and Lockheed Martin supports various flexible work schedules to enhance employee satisfaction.
