Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team.
This role involves a combination of on-site and remote support responsibilities.
The position is expected to last for an extended period, with potential for renewal.
Note: This position is available for W2 candidates only.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Site Support Manager and Operations Director with initiatives impacting end users and their devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, including operating systems and various software applications.
  • Provide support to all users for any IT-related incidents as needed.
  • Take ownership of issues, conducting problem analysis to implement effective solutions and restore service promptly; escalate issues to other support teams when necessary.
  • Accurately log, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system.
  • Install and configure new IT equipment as required.
  • Resolve incidents and perform upgrades on different types of software and hardware.
  • Address issues related to printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring all users are treated with respect and efficiency.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills, effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Experience in IT service desk operations.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting computer and network issues.
  • Knowledge of desktop and server support.
  • Experience with PC setup, configuration, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office installation.
  • Experience with MS Office 365.
  • Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Windows operating systems in a client/server environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Effective written communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Self-motivated individual.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, project staff, and end users.
  • Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting computer and network issues.
  • Experience in service desk operations.
  • Experience in PC setup, configuration, and deployment.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot computer and network problems.
  • Desktop/server support experience.
  • PC setup, configuration, and deployment skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office installation.
